A summer wedding in Las Vegas was in the cards for Merissa & Jacob. They chose the date 7-11 and the planning begun!
Merissa is from Alaska and Jacob is from Tennessee which made this a destination wedding of sorts. All of the guests traveled from out of state to attend the weekend festivities.
The guests were all treated to three days of activities. A welcome dinner at Diablo’s inside the Luxor where all the guests received a “Welcome to Our Wedding” gift bag filled with snacks & LV Trinkets. The following evening was a rehearsal dinner at Buca di Beppo at the Excalibur.
They decided on a brunch wedding at the beautiful Red Rock Resort. The grooms favorite color is red and the brides favorite color is blue, which were perfect colors to blend into all the decor & floral.
Merissa & Jacob are very family oriented and wanted to make sure that every family member had a special place in the ceremony and reception. Jacob’s mother and Merissa’s grandfather were brought into the day with loving memorials.
They are also parents to 8 month old Theo, who made a grand entrance by being carried down the aisle by his uncle Kyle – who agreed to officiate the nuptials.
Jacob is a professional dancer and showed off his slick moves on the dance floor – to Michael Jackson of course. It was a hit!
It was a beautiful day.
